Ubwuzu Sisal Woven Bowl - Small
Ubwuzu means great joy, fullness, zeal in kinyarwanda
Created one at a time, our sisal bowls are hand woven using a time honored weaving technique. Crafted by women artisans in Rwanda, each bowl can take up to a week to make. The women grow their own sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. The sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness.
Each bowl is handmade and vary lightly in color and size. Choose from 3 various colorways that we have in stock.
